SMH Player for Flash

The “SMH Player” is optimized for streaming Flash video and MP3 files over the Streaming Media Hosting CDN, an authorized Adobe FVSS partner. Adobe Flash is the world standard for rich interactive websites, advertisements, eLearning platforms, business presentations, mobile media, games, and more. Web producers and publishers depend on the ubiquitous Flash Player to ensure their content reaches the widest possible audience on both Windows and Macintosh.




The SMH Player Advanced Features:

The SMH Player, available only to Streaming Media Hosting customers, has many advanced features.
  • Supports On-Demand FLV (VP6), MP4 & F4V (both are H.264 versions), and MP3 file streams,
  • supports Live H.264 and VP6 encoded streams,
  • size dynamically, based on width & height parameters set in your webpage HTML embed code,
  • has automatic RTMP port negotiation for ports 1935 & 80 and port 80 tunneling,
  • has automatic dynamic buffering built,
  • has “Full-Screen” capability when selected by the viewer,
  • has automatic viewer ‘Bandwidth Detection’ for use with Dynamic Streaming,
  • has ‘Dynamic Streaming’ capability and can be set to automatically select media from ‘low’, ‘medium’ or ‘high’ encoding rates based on actual available viewer bandwidth for optimal playback and user experience,
  • autoplay can be set to false and display a ‘click-to-play’ button,
  • can display a preview JPG under ‘click-to-play’ button,
  • can display a preview image from the video under ‘click-to-play’ button,
  • can display a preview JPG image while waiting for a LIVE stream to start,
  • can play and loop an MP3 file while waiting for a LIVE stream to start,
  • can display a ‘Watermark’ PNG image over your video stream, LIVE or On-Demand,
  • will display a ‘click-to-replay’ button when file completes,
  • video can be set to ‘force2fit’ to force stream to fit player dimensions regardless of original encoded size.
